Rhododendron sinogrande

This was painted from sketches I took at Ness Gardens. The background is the pine wood that is a feature of the gardens that I am particularly fond of.

Visited Powys Castle Gardens in Wales today. Took hundreds of photographs of yellow roses. I have it in mind to paint a composition of them sometime. The gardens at Powys are really stunning.

Red Roses.

This is my first painting of raindrops on leaves. I enjoy painting raindrops, I find it quite a challenge. I have since painted many raindrop pictures.

First Blog Post

These are Hostas with raindrops. I will be adding more of my floral art work over the coming weeks.
